Welcome to Ahwatukee – also known as the “World’s Largest Cul-de-sac”!
Ahwatukee is a mystery to some – not knowing where it is. It is actually located in the lower part of Phoenix below South Mountain (aka -The Foothills) and west of the I-10 Freeway. It’s zip codes are Phoenix zip codes but include 85044, 85045 & 85048.
Ahwatukee has a lot to offer – beautiful views, hiking, biking, swimming, wildlife watching, bird watching and so much more. It has trails and scenery to enjoy everywhere! It is a community within a community – hence the nickname – World’s largest Cul-de-sac! In 2016, the 35.8 sq. mile neighborhood had a population of about 84,364 (Not too big and not too small).
