The Greater PHX Area Real Estate Market Snapshot For October 2020 Is Here!

And
we're once again back to crunch the numbers generated by the Greater
Phoenix Area Real Estate Market for the past month. The number of homes
for sale continue to steadily rise with 10,739 new inventory and 7,642
active listings posted for October 2020, up from the 10,290 properties
and 7,454 listings seen in September 2020. Conversely, listings spend
lesser time on the market with an average of 40 days with supply
expected to last 0.81 month in October 2020 versus September 2020's
figures of 42 days and 0.83 month.
Going back to what else went
up, successful homesellers this past month were fortunate to be part of
the 9,481 closings selling at $429,271 average sales price; the prior
month had 9,105 properties sold at an average of $411,407. Definitely
good figures when you consider that listing success rate went down from
87.5% to 86.1% and sold to list price ratio from 99.0% to 98.6%, and
serving as that extra push you need to get off the fence of selling your
home while the market still has this good a momentum.
