March 2019 Data Is Out- Metropolitan Phoenix Area Real Estate Market Is Looking Good!
Active listings went down from 18,731 to 18,701 in March 2019 but that's fine; monthly sales is up by 16% from 6,409 last month to 7,433 so that means homes are most likely getting sold!
Now don't worry about running out of good options if you're thinking of buying because there's 9, 676 new inventory that came in last month! You might need to make a move soon, though, because the current supply is good for about 2.8 months.
On the other side of the coin, putting your home up on the market is looking more and more like a good idea with the upward trend in average sales price these past few months, which was at $346,435 in March 2019. Now while you might expect your home to spend an average of 71 days on the market which was one day more than previous month, that's still three days less than how listings were up on the market on a yearly basis.
