A Close Look At The Greater PHX Area Real Estate Market In November 2018
Continuing an upward trend, active listings went up from October's 18,333 to 18,566 in the last month while cancellations and expired listings went down from 2,056 to 2,036. While new inventory decreased from 9,700 to 8,653, the current supply is expected to support inventory for 2.80 months, up from 2.50 previously.
Closings might've been reduced to 6,630 in the past month from from 7,336 in October with listing success rate going down from 72.0% to 69.3% but didn't stop the Sold to List Ratio from increasing slightly to 97.9% from 97.8%. The average home sale price also climbed from $326,148 to $327,673.
